Plastikon is a complete plastics design and engineering company. We provide our customers with comprehensive services including: modeling, product development, consulting, and project management. We can take an initial proposal or concept and perform design of experiments (DOE) and capability studies to improve the construction quality and manufacturability. Our PMP certified project managers then perform an FMEA to identify and prevent any issues before production begins. Once the process hits the assembly stage, our engineers ensure that precision tooling and molds are produced or existing forms are thoroughly evaluated. If needed, repairs or improvements are made.

Our manufacturing facilities use advanced technology and quality management systems to ensure high quality, cost effective parts. We aggressively employ lean manufacturing and six sigma practices to minimize waste and ensure consistent quality. Our highly automated equipment is set up with lights out manufacturing capabilities which allow us to run parts with minimal overhead, decreasing cost to our customers.

Our quality department performs extensive testing including online leak, vacuum, poke yoke, force & pull, torque & rotation, humidity, vibration, and material testing per industry and customer specifications. We are a FDA registered site as well as ISO 13485:2016, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 16949:2016 certified.
